How the Laboratory for Ceramic Research is organized and the Advisory Board

Two National Resource Units are attached to the Department of Quaternary Geology: the Laboratory for Ceramic Research and the Laboratory for Wood Anatomy and Dendrochronology. The status as national resource units implies that the laboratories serve as national centres for research and education within their special field of competence. The laboratories are funded by grants from the Research Council (VR) and by the Faculty of Sciences.

The laboratory have a supervisory committee whose members represent:

— the Research Council, Vetenskapsrådet (VR)

— the Faculty of Sciences at Lund University

— the Faculties of humanities and Theology at Lund University

— Archaeology departments in Stockholm, Uppsala and Lund

National Heritage Board

County Administrative Board of Scania (Länsstyrelsen Skåne)

The National Historical Museum (Historiska Museet, Stockholm)

—Geological Department at Lund University.
